Kasetsu or "Kayuki" meaning excellent snow, is the inspiration behind this stunning 6 bedroom luxury chalet.

A soaring 9-meter high entrance foyer greets you as you enter this 3 story chalet. A stone wall rises the entire length as natural light floods the open stairwell connecting all 3 levels.

The first floor of Katsetsu has a modern media room for entertainment, a dry room so all your riding/skiing gear is warm and ready for the next day. A Japanese tatami room with three futons offers a more traditional sleeping experience.

Climbing the stairs to the second floor finds 4 spacious bedrooms, 2 with ensuites,  and 1 bunk room ideal for kids or friends. 
Relaxing in the large Japanese-style bathing room on the second floor is essential to the Kasetsu experience.

Finally, as you reach the top floor, the stairs open up to an expansive living room and entertainment area. Lounge in front of the fireplace, entertain the group with a dinner prepared in the well-appointed kitchen, or just chat around the casual kitchen island. There is ample space for many people to relax without encroaching on the experience of the others.

The top floor is crowned by a stunning master bedroom with a private Japanese-style tub. The ultimate in winding down.

A complimentary 8 seater 4WD van is included with Kasetsu, making travel to the first lifts easy as can be. You could even explore further afield resorts in the area should you wish. Just make sure you have a valid international driver's license.
