"Lived up to expectations- cosy and neat. Although it is located in lower Hirafu, the shuttle bus departs right outside the cottage. Only downside was that the ski storage was located in the basement and as a result of the snow it was at times very slippery."

"Nupuri Cottage turned out to be better than expected. Although not exactly close to the centre of activity, the bus stop is just a few steps away from the main door. Everything in the cottage worked fine, and once we got used to the location, getting around was not difficult. Some nice restaurants just a short walk away, plus the onsen."

"EXCELLENT private nook, especially if you're driving because it has a good parking space. It's nice and warm. Perfect for a couple or a small family. Actually don't book it... so I can get my hands on it again! :)"

"Great location although lower village due to shuttle stop #4 being only 30 to 40 metres away, so really easy access. Cute cottage that could sleep 6 easy if you used the futon beds. First time in the lower village and would definitely stay there again."
