Job Overview
Vacation Niseko is looking for a Digital Marketing & Reservations Officer to join our Sales and Marketing team.
This role is responsible for handling guest enquiries, accommodation reservations, amendments, cancellations, and guest service bookings. You will communicate with guests by email, phone, website enquiry, and online booking channels, helping them find suitable accommodation and services while providing a smooth and professional booking experience.
In addition to reservations and sales support, this position will assist with Vacation Niseko’s digital marketing activities. This includes updating website content, maintaining accurate property and promotional information across digital platforms, supporting social media channels, and assisting with newsletters, blogs, campaigns, and other marketing materials.
This role is well suited to someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, an interest in travel and hospitality, and the ability to manage both guest-facing reservations work and digital marketing tasks in a fast-paced resort environment.
Working Hours
Standard working hours are 9:00–18:00, 8 hours per day with a 60-minute break.
During peak summer and winter seasons, a shift schedule may apply to cover weekends and public holidays. Shift times may vary between 8:00 and 20:00.
Job Description
- Handle guest enquiries, reservations, amendments, and cancellations from direct guests, travel agents, and online travel agents
- Communicate with guests by email, phone, website enquiry, and booking platforms to recommend suitable accommodation and guest services
- Coordinate guest service bookings before arrival and during the guest’s stay
- Maintain accurate property, service, promotion, and resort information across reservation systems, OTAs, and digital platforms
- Process payments for accommodation bookings and guest services
- Support promotional campaigns, special offers, and seasonal sales initiatives
- Assist with website updates, newsletters, blogs, and other marketing content
- Manage social media channels, including content creation, scheduling, monitoring engagement, and responding to enquiries where appropriate
Reporting Line
Reports to the Senior Accounting Manager.
Job Requirements
- Native-level English; Japanese or additional language skills are highly regarded
- Previous experience in reservations, sales, customer service, hospitality, tourism, or accommodation is preferred
- Experience in digital marketing, social media management, or website content management is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate information across multiple platforms
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with reservation systems, PMS, channel managers, CMS, social media platforms, or email marketing tools is an advantage
- Content creation or design skills using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools are an advantage
- Organized, reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Eligible to work full-time in Japan; visa sponsorship can be discussed for the right candidate
