Position: Maintenance Officer (Full-time)
Location: Kutchan Town, Abuta District, Hokkaido
Salary: ¥230,000 – ¥280,000
Job Overview
Join our team as a Maintenance Officer, where you will play a critical role in the upkeep and repair of our condominium and accommodation properties in the beautiful Niseko region. This role offers a great opportunity for those considering a career change as well as those with previous experience in property maintenance. You will be responsible for ensuring that the properties are in top condition and ready for guests at all times.
Working Hours
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8 hours, 60-minute break)
Overtime is generally not required, but emergency response may be necessary during urgent situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Regular Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, including snow removal and site upkeep on company-managed properties.
- General Repairs and Inspections: Handle repairs and inspections for building interiors and exteriors, electrical systems, IT and internet infrastructure, boilers, hot springs, and more.
- Vendor Coordination: Arrange and coordinate with external service providers when necessary, ensuring the timely resolution of maintenance issues.
- Emergency Response: Be prepared to address urgent repair and maintenance issues as they arise.
Requirements
- Japanese Language: Native-level Japanese proficiency (reading and writing) is required.
- Drivers License
- English Skills: Proficiency in English is a plus and highly desirable.
- Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Adaptability: Ability to respond flexibly to changing work situations and demands.
- Related Skills or Qualifications: Any additional maintenance-related qualifications or skills (e.g., plumbing, electrical work) are a plus.
