Niseko Japonica 2017
Everyone flock to Niseko for it's unmatched powder snow. But this year we are giving you a new reason to visit us: the all-new “Niseko Japonica” event. This happening gives you a chance to experience, up-close and personal, Japanese culture at the Chuo-Sokumura center which opened last summer. In addition to daily events including Tea Ceremony, Kimono Dressing, Origami, and special family experiences, traditional calligraphy classes will be held. You may even try your hand at the Shakuhachi and Koto traditional Japanese instruments. Furthermore, a unique event called the “Niseko Snow Light Road” will be taking place. Candles will be placed in the snow on the road leading from the JR Niseko Station to the Chuo Sokoumura. (Special cooperation with Otaru Tourist Association).
