The Mexican Mule
The best option for Mexican cuisine and cocktails in Niseko. The menu features authentic Mexican street food and the majority can be made vegetarian or vegan. Staff are happy to alter the menu to accommodate you. Some favorites are the bean tacos, enchiladas and burritos as well as the Mule salad.

One of the very few true yakitori (grilled skewers) restaurants in Grand Hirafu area.
A Niseko icon reborn in the 2018-2019 season, now serving lunch and dinner. From 21:00 it transforms into the popular nightlife spot that it's known for and has been for many years.
Jyuu is situated on the intersection between Niseko Village and Annupuri, and prepares the finest okonomiyaki in Niseko. There are dozens of ingredients to choose from including pork, seafood, steak, kimchi and cheese. This restaurant is consistently busy in high season.

Lava Lounge Pizza

Shabu Shabu is very popular dish in Japan especially in a cold winter months. At Sessa you can choose from either wagyu beef or seafood Shabu Shabu. A free shuttle from the Grand Hirafu area is also provided for your convenience.
A cornerstone of the resort, people love the Niseko pizzas that are cooked expertly in Cesar's woodfired oven. Their menu has recently been massively expanded to offer antipasto, salads and a wide variety of meals in Italian home cooked style. Included in this expansion was a large number of vegan options that puts Niseko Pizza at the very top of the list when it comes to catering for all tastes and diets.

Prativo is famous for its all-you-can-eat vegetarian lunch with a choice of a main meal. They always have a wide variety of local and fresh vegetables on offer, not to mention the famous local drinkable yogurt. There is also an à la carte and set menu for dinner. This lovely restaurant is located in the famous Niseko Milk Kobo complex, making it a great place to visit before sunset to enjoy delicious desserts too.
Located just north of Kutchan station, they are regarded by many locals as their favorite yakitori joint. The meat for its famous pork yakitori comes from nearby Rusutsu and it will melt in your mouth. It's definitely worth the extra effort of driving or travelling to Kutchan to dine at this place. Their tofu salad is wildly popular with vegetarians and vegans..

One of the most popular and sought after retaurant seats in town. Hokkaido is blessed with the best seafood in Japan and Ezo Seafood offer live seafood, it doesn't come fresher than this! Book very early or you'll miss out!
This restaurant makes its mark with simple yet delicious pizza, located in a warm and cosy timber building in the lower village. Beyond its pizza, be sure to try the ‘three cheese bread’ and the creamy risotto (which is rolled in a large block of cheddar cheese and served by the chef at your table).

Another flavor of Hokkaido! Genghiskhan is a very popular grilled lamb barbeque. A very busy restaurant loved by locals and they open year round. Reservation is required.
One of the longest serving restaurants in Hirafu, predating the resort's current fame. With over 30 years of experience on the grill, owner Masa-san is a true shokunin of the coals and the yakitori that comes out of his kitchen is some of the best you will ever eat. This restaurant is booked up for months in advance so please ask us for their special order forms at your earliest chance.

A true taste of Hokkaido! Soup Curry was a Hokkaido invention and its deep warming broth is the perfect accompaniment to Hokkaido's cold weather.
Tsubara Tsubara has been flying the soup curry flag in Niseko for years and has a great range of curries and spice levels on the menu, plus child size portions.
Located on the first floor of Alpen Hotel, this sushi restaurant is very convenient to book, or to walk in for sushi at lunchtime. The salmon roe bowl or sea urchin bowl is especially recommended.

In a very rustic atmosphere, you will be presented with classical izakaya dishes such as kara-age (fried chicken) and gyozas. This traditional Japanese restaurant is located just above “Moon Bar” which is a favourite amongst locals and seasonal staff.

One of the most well-known places in Niseko. Popular with locals and visitors, this small long-standing establishment famous for its “Yatai (屋台)” or food stall atmosphere. Booking is only taken 30 days in advance and making a reservation is highly recommended.
Pan Asian Brasserie with good selection of international cuisine. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner combined it with convenient location making it a popular choice for everyone.
Hokkaido is famous for its miso ramen noodle while, Niseko is famous for potato, thus the Niseko Ramen was born! A miso ramen with a fluffy cream potato topping. No reservations taken, so “the early bird gets the noodle” as the old saying goes.
