Koho: A new addition to the Vacation Niseko Property Family
A beautifully renovated 3 story chalet, perfectly marrying old and new styles with a picturesque view of Mt. Yotei
Introducing Koho: A classic 3 story ski chalet, with a recent renovation adding a clean modern twist. In 2015, the property was completely redone. The renovation highlights the log cabin feel that the property already possesses. Leaving the original build, they worked with the traditional wooden beams that span across the house. The living space is the epitome of cozy, however the shape of the receding ceilings creates a very roomy and comfortable feeling. Each furniture piece takes into consideration the clean wooden vibe of the property, leaving a harmonious natural aesthetic.
The living space on the 3rd floor is split in half. One side features a sizeable dining table, with two kitchen nooks on either end. One nook holds the refrigerator, cooktops, counterspace, and a dishwasher. The other gives a larger counterspace with drawers full of plates, cutlery, and utensils.
The other half holds a long sofa that is built into the ceiling recess. This creates more space as well as a nice design feel with the matching long coffee table. A highlight of the property is the 46-inch flat-screen TV complete with SONOS Surround Sound. Dive into your favorite ski film on this masterful media set up as you rest for your next day on the slopes.
The second floor is taken up entirely by two generously sized bedrooms, each containing their own bathrooms.
The ground floor has another bedroom with a bunk bed. This is the perfect kids room and it even has its own TV.
Another wonderful amenity of Koho is the Toyota High Ace Van that come with it free of charge. This 9-seater can take you anywhere you want to go during your stay, with plenty of room for your ski gear. The ideal vehicle for Hokkaido. Other amenities include wifi throughout the house, a ski storage area near the entrance, and a washer and dryer.
Koho sits in a private and tranquil location at the bottom of the Hirafu village. For those who want to be close to the action, but able to easily escape the noise and bustle of the main streets, this is ideal. If you choose not to drive, a shuttle bus coming every 20 minutes is just a short 3-minute walk away. Koho has been a very popular accommodation in the past for summer stays in Niseko. The property has plenty of parking for gatherings and space outside for BBQs. Koho even comes with its own vehicle! Having a car in the summer is a must if you want to experience all that the Niseko area has to offer. There's so much to do, but it requires a short drive to get there.
Koho is the ideal property for a family getaway, a ski trip with friends, or a perfect home base for Niseko summertime activities and BBQs. The overarching wooden styling of the interior will have you feeling like you are staying in a log cabin, but the modern touches will make it comfortable and entertaining for the whole family. It also holds the perfect location for those who want to be close to the happenings of Hirafu, but are happy to tuck away for the night away from the loud nightlife.
