Niseko Landmark View gets a refresh: 2020 renovation update

  • September 21, 2020

The owner relations and asset management team at Vacation Niseko have recently completed one of their biggest projects to date: a large scale refresh of one of our flagship properties, Niseko Landmark View. With repainting, repairs and a general tidy up, the buidling is now fresh and ready for new and existing guests to enjoy. With the harsh Niseko Winters testing the limits of our buildings every year, the planning and execution of vital buidling maintenance is no small feat - good work team!

Here's what our key players had to say about the completion of the project:

"The Niseko Landmark View condominium building has just seen the completion of an extensive repair & refresh project protecting the value of our clients' assets and ensuring the property will remain operable and tenant-able for many years to come. Long gone are the signs of wear-and-tear: concrete cracks, the faded paint & weathered facade.

The physical works spanned 6 months, including periods during the busy summer and Obon holiday periods. Project phases & work schedules were therefore adjusted in such a way so as to have minimal impact on in-house guests while still allowing the project to progress. Not only did the revised work scheduling allow for the property to continue to perform & generate revenue for our clients, it did so in such a way that allowed for an ahead-of-schedule completion.

The works themselves lasted only 6 months but with planning, quotation shopping, owners association coordination, funding drives & other key phases taken into account the completion of this project is 2+ years in the making. Suffice it to say we are very happy to have this completed & are certain our clients will be as well.

A great many thanks to the lead contractor GLR Projects for top quality work & to Glen Claydon Photography for the media kit."

- Miles Zeorlin, Owner Liaison for Niseko Management Service (Vacation Niseko).

"This is the biggest external renovation project we have undertaken at the company as part of our asset management function. The building looks great and is ready for another 10 years or more in the Niseko winter. Very proud of what we have done here as a team."

- John Barton, Representative Director at Vacation Niseko.
