Year after year, Niseko Landmark View continues to be one of Niseko's most popular and beloved Winter accommodations. It has also received accolades on the world stage, winning the Award for Excellence in Service from the Travel Hospitality Awards in 2019 for Hokkaido. Conveniently located close to the Hirafu Gondola, it's combination of well-designed 2/3 bedroom apartments, stunning views and top class service make it a no-brainer when choosing accommodation in Asia's snow capital.

In this blog we’ll be outlining the outstanding features of Niseko Landmark View - the timeless favourite in Upper Hirafu.

Niseko Landmark View (NLV) is situated on Gondola-zaka (Gondola Street in Japanese), making it one of the best located properties in Upper Hirafu for powderhounds who like to be close to the lifts. It is only a 6 minute walk to the base of the gondola, so first lifts on powder days are a breeze and it’s a great spot if you like to have a break in the comfort of your room on a big skiing/snowboarding day. Some notable facilities on Gondola-zaka include Harro’s Snowsports, a rental and retail shop right next door to NLV, Toyru, a mountain retail shop specialising in local brands and Patagonia merchandise just across the street, An Dining in the Ki Niseko building, Lawson convenience store at the bottom of the street and Izakaya Kakashi, a popular gastro pub just off Gondola-zaka on Koen Avenue. Walking down Koen Ave will take you to the hub of Hirafu village, Hirafu-zaka. This walk takes only 4 minutes and puts you at the heart of Niseko surrounded by restaurants, bars, onsens, rental and retail shops like Niseko Sports, information centres like the Hirafu Welcome Center and Hirafu 188 which has a pharmacy and mini grocer.

Apartments

Niseko Landmark View has 5 different apartment types:

This apartment is located on the upper (4-6) floors of Niseko Landmark View, with spectacular views of Mount Yotei from the living area and master bedroom. Bedrooms include a master with ensuite and a second bedroom with separate bathroom featuring a bathtub. This apartment is slightly cheaper than a 2 Bedroom Premium apartment since it has not gone through the renovations completed in 2017.

NLV - Deluxe Apartments

These apartments are located on the lower (1-3) floors of Niseko Landmark View, with partial views of Mt Yotei. For 2 bedroom apartments, two layouts are available with 1 having the living and dining rooms facing Mt Yotei and the other having the living room and master bedroom facing Mt Yotei. For 3 bedroom apartments, only one layout is available with the living room and master bedroom facing Mt Yotei. Bedrooms include a master with ensuite and either 1 or 2 other bedrooms with 1 separate bathroom.

NLV - Premium Apartments

For 2 bedroom apartments, two layouts are available with 1 having the living and dining rooms facing Mt Yotei and the other having the living room and master bedroom facing Mt Yotei. For 3 bedroom apartments, only one layout is available with the living room and master bedroom facing Mt Yotei. Views

NLV - Views

Niseko Landmark View apartments are angled for optimum views of the stunning Mt Yotei, Hokkaido’s Mt Fuji. Premium and Standard apartments will have uninterrupted views of the mountain which towers over the village for a magical and majestic backdrop to your Winter holiday. Premium and Standard rooms will also have ski hill views from the bedrooms and bathrooms on the other side of the apartment so they are great for ski buffs who like to check the conditions each morning. Deluxe rooms will only have partial views of Mt Yotei due to a tree line that blocks some of the view for the lower levels. All apartments have floor-to-ceiling windows on the Yotei side so views of the mountain are front-and-center.
