Kutchan Yukitopia Snow Festival 2017
In addition to the various snow festivals presented in different parts of Hokkaido, the snow town Kutchan will host its own winter festival in February too! The annual Yukitopia Snow Fetival will be held on 18th and 19th February at Kutchan Asahigaoka Ski Hill. Yuki means snow in Japanese and varied snow related activities will be held in the two-day event.
The most popular activity is ''Glide Across the Water'', where participants will glide across a 13 meters long pool filled with water in skis or snowboard. Food & drinks stalls hosted by locals are also available during the event.
There are free shuttle buses running around town on both dates. Let's enjoy the snow festival together!
