Recently opened in 2019/20 winter season, Midtown Niseko is one of the newest affordable accommodation options in Hirafu. It will offer twin and triple type lodgings with all the necessities and uncompromising comfort for a great stay at the base of Asia’s powder capital without the massive price tag.
Construction has just wrapped up after years of careful planning, building and design, and we are excited to show you just what makes this property the newest member of the modest accommodation tier in Niseko. Take a look below for a first-hand peek at Midtown Niseko, now available for stays all year ‘round.

Twin Rooms are great for couples or friends who need just the basics but still want comfort and style. These rooms can be double or twin configured and feature air-conditioning/heating, a TV, fridge, safe,  private bathroom, desk, charging points and plenty of storage.

Triple Rooms

With a bunk bed and single, these rooms are great for a small family or group of friends who want to be close to the village and the Niseko pow but don’t want to break the bank. These rooms also include air-conditioning/heating, a TV, fridge, safe, private bathroom, desk, charging points and lots of storage for bags and snow gear.

Bathrooms in Midtown Niseko are private and include a shower unit, sink, toilet, mirror, cabinet, soap, shampoo and conditioner, towels, slippers and toothbrush.

Ski Lockers

Separate from the rooms, the Midtown Niseko ski lockers have plenty of room for boards and skis, as well as shelves for each room to keep wet boots.

Kitchen

There is a common kitchen and dining area separate from the bedrooms where you can prepare meals and snacks if you do not wish to dine at the onsite cafe and eatery. There are also fridges in each room to keep personal food stashes.

There a 5 washers and 5 dryers on each floor in Midtown Niseko, where you can wash clothes and stay fresh during your stay. They are coin operated and cost 200JPY for a wash cycle and 100JPY for 30 minutes in the dryer.

Gym

Stay fit and flexible after you carve the famous Japow! All guests are welcome to use the gym during their stay at Midtown Niseko, which features treadmills, weights, exercise bikes and a step machine.

Reception and Common Area

A large common area with couches, longtable and desks are available on the ground floor of Midtown for socialising and work, as well as a helpful front desk team to help with check-ins and out, local info and recommendations and any last minute bookings you may need.

Midtown Niseko has a variety of onsite dining options including Midtown Diner, an all-day restaurant/bar/cafe where you can enjoy a complimentary breakfast each morning, eat a delicious meal or have an apres drink with fellow powderhounds. A Lawson convenience store is also onsite so you’re never far from groceries or a midnight snack and there are multiple offsite restaurants within walking distance such as L’Ocanda Italian, Ichimura Soba, Guzu Guzu BakeryLouis Ristorante Pizzeria and a 7-11.

Parking and getting around

Onsite parking is available on a first-come-first-served basis at Midtown Niseko, with 20 spots in the Winter and 43 in the Summer. A free shuttle bus runs during the Winter time, stopping at lifts and central points in the village and circling every 20 minutes or so.

The building uses elevators between floors and new rooms will be available to book as it continues to open including quad rooms, studios, executive studios and wheelchair accessible rooms.
