Photography Workshops
Winter and Summer workshops dedicated to capturing the great moments. Hosted by SnowDog Village and run by a professional landscape/wildlife photographer Tomohiro Nakamichi.
Summer Camp for Kids
Local favorite EdVenture hosts active and EdUcational camps for kids of all ages. Engaging and exciting curriculum allows kids to enjoy time away from parents.
Culture and Art
Summer 2022 sees an grand scale art installation on the mountain at the Hanazono resort, a short drive from SnowDog Village. Various boutiques and galleries dot the countryside as well.
Activities
From epic zip lines in the moutains to rafting and SUP on the rivers. The region proximate to SnowDog Village does not lack for things to do!
Family winter activities
Snow rafting, snowmobiling, ski/snowboard lessons and snowshoeing are all on tap in during the winter months. All great for time with the family. Don't forget the onsen!

Food
SnowDog Village is a short drive from the main resort area in Hirafu. Hirafu is replete with gastronomic options. However, the inability to get a reservation combined with the crowds can become tedious.
SnowDog Village has you covered when it comes to food, so there is no need to stay in Hirafu.
Upashi Seta
A dog friendly izakaya on-site at SnowDog Village offers up classic Japanese fare and well-behaved dogs are welcome to join the family at dinner time!
Foodcentric events
The proprietors of SnowDog Village are always on the hunt for new ways to scratch that foodie itch. From food trucks to apres ski marshmallow roasts. There are options!

Since SnowDog Village has fully equipped kitchens in all 1 bedroom apartments and above, sometimes a home cooked meal or DIY meal kit is just what hits the spot.
